Jose Aynat

Co-CEO LentiStem Biotech

José Aynat is a biotech executive with international leadership experience across M&A integration, lifecycle strategy, and growth in the biotechnology industry. A Senior Executive Fellow in 2025 at Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, he has held senior biotechnology management roles in Italy, Brussels, and Washington, DC, including global pipeline strategy and M&A work at a British pharmaceutical organization, where he led a blockbuster product lifecycle initiative in the United States that ultimately culminated in FDA approval. He was nominated by Harvard Innovation Labs to serve as a judge for the Health & Life Sciences track of the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge. Across his career, he has received approximately 15 industry awards.

He is also the creator of a global Public Health initiative to fight childhood pneumonia that received endorsement from UNICEF, reaching more than 105 million people across Africa and Asia and earning a U.S. Gold Anthem Award for Public Health.

Biotech strategy, capital partnerships, and global development

He remains closely connected to Granada, the city where he began his academic and scientific journey at the University of Granada. He later earned an MBA from IESE Business School, spanning between Barcelona and New York, where he served as Vice President of the MBA Venture Capital Club.
